Description
The 14mm Gold Plated Normally Closed (NC) Magnetic Reed Switch is a highly sensitive proximity sensor used to detect the presence of a magnetic field. It consists of two internal gold-plated ferromagnetic contacts sealed inside a glass tube that changes state when a magnet is brought near it. In the normally closed configuration, the circuit remains ON (closed) in the absence of a magnetic field and opens when a magnet is detected.
