The TP5000 battery charger module is a compact, high-efficiency charging board designed for charging a single-cell lithium battery. It supports both 4.2V Li-ion/Li-Po batteries and 3.6V LiFePO4 batteries, depending on the selected board configuration.
The module uses an embedded switching regulator for efficient charging with reduced power loss. It supports adjustable charging current and includes an onboard LED for charging-status indication. The recommended input voltage is 4.5V to 7V DC, making it suitable for regulated adapters, DC power supplies and embedded battery-powered projects.
This module is useful for DIY battery packs, rechargeable electronics, robotics projects, portable devices, emergency lighting, power-management systems and custom embedded applications. The supplied LED can be connected to provide a clear visual charging indication.
