The Red Sound Detection Sensor Module is a reliable and easy-to-use audio sensor designed for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller platforms. Built using an electret condenser microphone and the LM393 comparator IC, this module detects sound levels beyond a set threshold and provides both analog and digital outputs.
It is ideal for sound-activated projects, clap switches, alarms, robotics, and STEM learning applications. The on-board potentiometer allows you to easily adjust sensitivity, while the LED indicator gives instant visual feedback when sound is detected.
This module detects the presence of sound, not its frequency or loudness, making it perfect for simple and effective sound-triggered automation.
