SN04-N Inductive Proximity Sensor NPN NO 5mm | Metal Detection Sensor 5V–30V

This is an SN04-N Inductive Proximity Sensor used to detect metal objects without touching them. It can sense metallic objects up to 5mm distance and gives a signal output when detection happens.

What does it do?

This sensor replaces physical switches. Instead of touching, it detects metal automatically.

How it works?

When a metal object comes close to the sensor (within 5mm), the sensor detects it and sends a signal output.

It also has an LED indicator:

• ON → Power supply
• Bright → Object detected

• Blue wire → GND
• Black wire → Signal Output
