MQ-3 Alcohol Sensor

The MQ-3 Alcohol Sensor is a semiconductor gas sensor used to detect alcohol vapors (mainly ethanol) in the air. It works using a SnO₂ (tin dioxide) sensing layer whose resistance changes when alcohol gas is present. The sensor includes a built-in heater coil that keeps the sensing material at the required operating temperature for accurate detection.
