The MAX9814 Microphone Amplifier Module is a high-quality electret microphone amplifier board featuring built-in Automatic Gain Control (AGC). It is designed to amplify microphone audio signals while automatically adjusting the gain according to changes in sound level. This makes it suitable for electronics projects where audio levels can vary significantly.

The module is based on the MAX9814 microphone amplifier IC, which integrates a low-noise preamplifier, variable gain amplifier, output amplifier, microphone bias circuit, and AGC circuitry. The amplifier provides selectable maximum gains of 40dB, 50dB, or 60dB and operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V single supply. The built-in microphone bias circuit is designed to support most electret microphones.

This module can be used with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller or development boards with analog audio input capability. It is suitable for voice detection, sound-reactive LED projects, audio monitoring, voice recording, sound measurement, robotics, IoT projects, and other DIY electronics applications.
