LM393N Dual Voltage Comparator IC – 8-Pin DIP

The LM393N is a dual voltage comparator IC containing two independent comparators in an 8-pin DIP package. Each comparator compares two input voltages and changes its output according to which input voltage is higher.

It is used in voltage detection, threshold switching and sensor signal comparison circuits. The through-hole package can be used with a compatible breadboard, IC socket or PCB.
