The Benewake TF-Luna LiDAR Distance Sensor is a compact, low-power time-of-flight (ToF) laser ranging module capable of measuring distances up to 8 meters with centimeter-level accuracy.
It features plug-and-play UART output, making it easy to use with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Pixhawk, PLCs, and computers—no complex signal processing required.

Designed for UAVs, robotics, industrial automation, and level measurement, TF-Luna delivers up to 250 distance readings per second with a narrow 2° field of view, ensuring precise single-point detection even in complex environments.

LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is an active sensing technology that calculates distance by measuring the time taken for a laser pulse to reflect back from an object.
The TF-Luna LiDAR module uses an 850nm infrared laser and advanced ToF algorithms to provide stable, accurate, and highly sensitive distance measurements.

The sensor internally handles all distance calculations and directly outputs digital distance data via UART, allowing your microcontroller or system to read values instantly without extra processing. This makes TF-Luna ideal for plug-and-play integration into existing projects.

With a high frame rate of up to 250Hz, low power consumption (≤0.35W), and lightweight design (<5g), it is especially suitable for battery-powered and weight-sensitive applications such as drones and portable devices.

Benewake also provides official GUI software for testing, live monitoring, data logging, and debugging—perfect for quick evaluation and deployment.
