IR LED Pair
An IR LED pair consists of an infrared (IR) transmitting LED and an IR receiving sensor (photodiode or phototransistor). The transmitter emits infrared light, which is invisible to the human eye, and the receiver detects the reflected or interrupted IR light. IR LED pairs are widely used for object detection, obstacle sensing, proximity sensing, speed measurement, and remote-control applications.
