Color Sensor - TCS3200

The TCS3200 is a programmable color sensor that detects RGB (Red, Green, and Blue) colors and outputs a frequency corresponding to the detected color intensity. It is commonly used in robotics, automation, and color detection applications.

Features of TCS3200 Color Sensor

1. Built-in Photodiodes – An array of 8×8 photodiodes (64 total), with:

   • 16 Red-sensitive
   • 16 Green-sensitive
   • 16 Blue-sensitive
   • 16 Clear (no filter)

2. Output Format – Square wave frequency proportional to the intensity of the detected color.

3. Adjustable Frequency Scaling – Three selectable frequency outputs: 100%, 20%, or 2% of the measured signal.

4. Wide Voltage Range – Operates between 2.7V to 5.5V, making it compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and 8051 microcontrollers.

5. High Sensitivity and Accuracy – Capable of detecting a wide range of colors accurately.
