3×AA Small Battery Holder with Red and Black Wire Leads – 4.5V Three-Cell Plastic Battery Case

The 3×AA small battery holder is a compact battery case designed to hold three standard AA-size cells in a series connection. It provides a convenient portable power source for electronic circuits, DIY projects, toys, LEDs, buzzers, sensors and small motors.

With three standard 1.5V alkaline or zinc-carbon AA batteries, the holder provides a nominal output of approximately 4.5V DC. When used with three 1.2V rechargeable NiMH or NiCd batteries, the nominal output is approximately 3.6V DC.

The holder includes pre-attached red and black wire leads for easy connection to electronic circuits. The red wire normally represents the positive output, while the black wire represents the negative output.

Metal spring contacts help hold the batteries securely and maintain electrical contact. Its open design allows batteries to be inserted and replaced easily without opening a cover.

This battery holder is useful for low-voltage electronics, school science models, robotics prototypes, LED projects, small motor circuits and breadboard experiments. It does not include an ON/OFF switch, charging circuit or battery-protection system.
