12V Relay:

A 12V relay is an electrically operated switch that uses a 12-volt coil to open or close one or more electrical contacts. It's commonly used to let a low-power control circuit switch a higher-power load, such as lights, motors, pumps, or automotive accessories.

• Coil – Produces a magnetic field when 12 V DC is applied.
• Armature – A movable metal lever that operates the contacts.
• Contacts – Open or close the electrical circuit (Normally Open and/or Normally Closed).
• Spring – Returns the armature to its original position when the coil is de-energized.
• Terminals – External pins for the coil and switching contacts.
