1×AA Small Battery Holder with Red and Black Wire Leads – 1.5V Single Cell Plastic Battery Case

The 1×AA small battery holder is a compact battery case designed to hold one standard AA-size cell and provide a convenient power connection for electronic circuits, DIY projects and educational experiments.

It includes pre-attached red and black wire leads, making it easy to connect the battery holder to breadboards, switches, motors, LEDs, buzzers, development boards and other low-voltage electronic components. The red wire is normally used for the positive connection, while the black wire is used for the negative connection.

A metal spring and terminal contacts hold the AA battery securely inside the case and maintain electrical contact during use. The open holder design allows the battery to be inserted and removed easily without opening a cover.

When used with one standard alkaline or zinc-carbon AA cell, the holder provides approximately 1.5V DC. When used with one rechargeable NiMH or NiCd AA cell, the nominal output is generally around 1.2V DC, depending on the battery type and charge condition.

The compact holder is suitable for small science projects, LED circuits, toys, mini motors, sensor circuits, school models and prototype electronics. A centre mounting hole is also provided on many versions, allowing the holder to be fixed to a project base using a suitable screw.
